my first visitors!

No, this picture is not photoshopped or out dated. That is my parents, my brother, and me all in the same picture! How you ask? THEY CAME TO VISIT!! We spent a few days in Melbourne and had so much fun! We explored all through the CBD, I took them to my favourite spots, we made kangaroo burgers, watched the superbowl, and made a few day trips! Austin, my brother's bestie from our neighborhood is living in Canberra, so he came down and spent the week with us as well.

One day, we went to Philip Island to watch the Penguin Parade. After sunset, hundreds of mini-penguins waddle out of the ocean to find their burrows and we got to watch it! It was crazy to learn how far some of these little guys walk just to get home after playing in the ocean all day.

just trying to blend in..

We spent a day driving along the Great Ocean Road, and I was just as blown away this time as I was the first!

It is seriously breathtaking!

As we were driving home it was the perfect time to stop by kangaroo golf course. There were easily 30 kangaroos just hanging out!

When we were done in Melbourne, we headed to Sydney for a few days and stayed busy the whole time! We spent plenty of time walking around Darling Harbor and the rocks, we climbed the harbor bridge, went to Manly beach, ate in China Town, walked around the Opera House, and spent a day at the Blue Mountains.

we tried to get the opera house in the back. meh, oh well!

on a hike in the blue mountains!

the valley of the blue mountains. it was gorgeous!
Then, I had to say bye to Justin and Austin. Sad day, but my mom, dad and I spend another day in Sydney walking around some more. We walked through the botanical gardens, climbed to a lookout on the bridge, and went to dinner at Hard Rock to get me some chicken fingers I've been craving for the last 7 months.

Then I sent my parents off to New Zealand for a week, and when they came back to Melbourne we had some more time to explore.

We went to the 88th floor of this building and got a full 360 degree view of Melbourne.

We got to walk through the gardens, go to the Queen Vic Market, the night market, and the old Melbourne jail.

mom, dad, Justin and Austin thanks for coming! I had a blast with all yall! See you suckers in July!
